Designed for young people aged 11–18 who dream of designing, sewing, and creating their own garments in a small, supportive studio environment.


What to expect:


Mondays (term time only)
School Years 7–9 (Age 11-13): 5:00–6:15pm
School Years 10–13 (Age 14-18): 6:30–7:45pm 

£16.25 per session (paid as a monthly fee of £65 during term time)
Small groups with just 6 students per class

Do I need any sewing experience to join?

Not at all. My classes are beginner-friendly and perfect even if you’ve never touched a sewing machine before. I’ll guide you step-by-step to build your confidence and skills.

What if I already know how to sew?
That’s great! These classes are also ideal for those who want to strengthen their technique, learn new methods, or take on more advanced projects. You’ll have the opportunity to challenge yourself and refine your skills in a supportive environment.

What do I need to bring to class?

Just bring yourself! I provide the sewing machines and basic materials. If we need anything specific for a project, I’ll let you know in advance. If you have your own sewing machine and prefer to use it, you’re more than welcome to bring it along.

What will be covered in the class?

Each class follows a well-structured lesson plan, with a focus on developing a new technique each week. The content is carefully designed to build your skills progressively throughout the course. For a detailed breakdown of what’s included, please refer to the individual course descriptions.

Is there a maximum number of students per class?

Yes, to ensure everyone receives personal attention and guidance, class sizes are kept small, usually with no more than 6 students per session. This helps create a friendly, supportive environment where you can learn at your own pace.

Can I make up a class if I miss one?

Life happens! If you miss a class, I’ll do my best to help you catch up either by providing notes, demo videos, or arranging a quick recap before the next session. While I can’t always offer full make-up classes, I’ll make sure you don’t fall behind.
